Jeffrey Donovan

jeffrey-donovanJeffrey T. Donovan made his film debut in Inside Out. His next film, Throwing Down, took the top jury prize at The Hamptons Film Festival. Donovan also played Jeffrey Patterson in Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. Since then, Donovan has been seen in television show guest appearances, such as Homicide: Life on the Street, The Pretender, Spin City, Witchblade, Monk, CSI: Miami, and Law & Order.

Donovan appeared in the 2005 romantic comedy Hitch starring Will Smith and Kevin James. He also starred as Cal in the 2006 film Come Early Morning opposite Ashley Judd. Also in 2006, he starred in the film Believe in Me, in which he played the coach of a women’s basketball team from Middleton, Oklahoma. Donovan last starred in the movie Changeling which was released to U.S. theaters in October 2008.

Donovan was cast as a supporting role in the hit series Crossing Jordan as William Ivers. He is currently starring in Burn Notice on the USA Network as Michael Westen.

Donovan went to college at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He then went on to earn an M.F.A. degree from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Donovan owns a home in California, in a rural area overlooking the 11,000-acre Topanga State Park. It is entirely electric and will be completely solarized by the end of 2009, due to the actor’s strong belief in the importance of ‘green living’. Donovan also drives a hybrid Toyota Camry.

Gabrielle Anwar

gabrielle-anwarGabrielle Anwar is known from 1990′s from her roles in  films Scent of a Woman, The Three Musketeers, and Body Snatchers. Notable television roles include the fashion-conscious graphic designer Sam Black in the second series of the Children’s ITV series Press Gang and Margaret Tudor on The Tudors. Since 2007, she has starred as Fiona Glenanne opposite Jeffrey Donovan on the USA Network television series Burn Notice.

Anwar’s acting debut was in the British miniseries Hideaway. She made her film debut in Manifesto, which was followed by more British television productions including First Born, Summer’s Lease, Press Gang, and The Mysteries of the Dark Jungle. While working on movies and television in London, she met American actor Craig Sheffer, and moved with him to Hollywood. Anwar and Sheffer have co-starred in a number of American movies together, such as In Pursuit of Honor, The Grave, Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal, Flying Virus, Save It for Later, Water Under the Bridge, and Long Lost Son.

Her first American movie was Teen Agent where she played the daughter of a murdered British Agent (played by Roger Daltrey). In 1992 she made a guest appearance on Beverly Hills, 90210 as Tricia Kinney. She followed that with the films Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken, Scent of a Woman, Body Snatchers, For Love or Money, and The Three Musketeers. In 1993, People magazine named her one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world.

One of her most memorable moments on screen came in 1992′s Scent of a Woman when she danced a tango with Al Pacino, whose character was blind.

Anwar has appeared in the TV series John Doe and recently acted in The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines. Anwar played Princess Margaret, sister of Henry VIII of England, on Showtime’s The Tudors in 2007.

Bruce Campbell

bruce-campbellBruce Lorne Campbell  is an actor, producer, writer and director.

He may be best-known for his starring role as Ash in the Evil Dead trilogy of horror/slapstick movies. He is currently starring as Sam Axe in Burn Notice on the USA Network.

Bruce Campbell began acting as a teenager and soon began making small Super 8 movies with friends. After meeting Sam Raimi in Wylie E. Groves High School, the two became very good friends and started making movies together. Campbell would go on to attend Western Michigan University while he continued to work on his acting career.

Campbell’s first wife (from 1983 to 1989) was Christine Deveau; they had two children, Rebecca and Andy. Bruce Campbell currently lives in Jacksonville, Oregon, with his second wife, costume designer Ida Gearon.

A few years later, Bruce and Sam Raimi got together with other family and friends and began work on The Evil Dead. Campbell starred and worked behind the camera, receiving a “co-executive producer” credit; Raimi wrote, directed and edited.

Outside of film, Campbell has appeared in a number of television series. He starred in The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. a boisterous sci-fi comedy western created by Jeffrey Boam and Carlton Cuse that ran for one season. He starred in the television series Jack of All Trades. In 1996-1997, Campbell was a recurring guest star on the show Ellen as Ed Billik, who becomes Ellen’s boss when she sells her bookstore in season four. He is also known for his supporting role as the recurring character Autolycus (“the King of Thieves”) on both Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. Campbell played Hercules/Xena series producer Rob Tapert in two episodes of Hercules set in the present. He directed a number of episodes of Hercules and Xena, including the Hercules series finale.

Campbell made a critically acclaimed dramatic guest role as a grief-stricken detective seeking revenge for his father’s murder in a two-part episode of Homicide: Life on the Street. Campbell later played the part of a polygamous demon in the X-Files episode, “Terms of Endearment”. He also starred as Agent Jackman in the episode “Witch Way Now?” of the WB series Charmed, as well as playing an FBI agent in an episode the short-lived series American Gothic titled “Meet the Beetles”.

Campbell is featured as a voice actor in several video game titles. He provides the voice of Ash in the three latest games based on the Evil Dead film series, as well as titles such as Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle, Spider-Man: The Movie, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3.

On June 28, 2007 the new television series Burn Notice premiered on the USA Network. In it Bruce Campbell plays a former navy SEAL and special ops cold warrior named Sam Axe who supports his tastes for drink and women by acting as an FBI informant.
